An important update | Version 0.16


Hello!

Here's everything that's changed in this update!

  • Inventory mechanics completely reworked. 

Items picked up by the player will now remain in the inventory even if the level is reloaded, and if the item was dropped, it will appear in the chest next to it. The inventory view has also been changed (now only 2 slots).

  • Lighting has been changed.
  • Minor bug fixes
  • Fixed a bug where Vannessa could not jump out of the window (fixed by reloading the level, but now not necessary).
  • Changed the location of the rich stone. Grass paths have changed their appearance.
  • All grass in the game has been planted more "densely".
  • Why is this update important? The inventory mechanic is one of the most important mechanics in the game, it has become easier for you and me to work on the game. 

What's next. 

As I said, I'm continuing to work on the second chapter, as well as polishing the first chapter.  I've also been thinking about a "custom story" mode where you can create your own story, cutscenes, puzzles and more, but it's just an idea and there's no guarantee it'll make it into the final game. The plan is still to release the second chapter by the summer. 

In the next post I will talk about all the content that is ready for the second chapter. 

PC version updated to 0.16

Android version remains at 0.15
